Our condo is available for a short term rental(s) until May 31, 2012. We will consider up to 6 months or any duration less than 6 months to a minimum of 2 weeks. Fees will be prorated based on the duration.
We are looking for a responsible tenant or tenants. We are including all utilities (water, gas, cable, Internet, electricity, single underground parking stall, etc.) in the rental price. There will only be one other cleaning fee which will be dependent on the term of the rental.
Our condo is located in the Strand Resort on Okanagan Lake in Vernon. Located on the 2nd floor it has partial views of the surrounding mountains as well as the lake. Your rental is taken care of as your condo is beautifully furnished with all linens, towels, kitchen utensils, flat panel TVs, DVD player, XBOX Live and the list goes on. Your condo has a warm fireplace for relaxing after a long day of snowboarding or skiing in the winter and your balcony provides you with privacy and a gas BBQ for entertaining during the beautiful summers.
In addition to the luxuries of your condo, there is a wonderful pool and hot tub (365 days of the year) for guests. There is also an underground reserved parking stall, guest storage for winter activity items such as snowboards and skis and cleaning services available. A marina with boat slips in front of the complex has a modern dock and large slips that rent for $35 per day. There are also other common roof top areas where you can enjoy views of the lake and relax on top of the building or practice your putting on the putting green. Common shared areas within the complex include a gas fire pit.
Staying here is a quick 25 minute drive from the Kelowna Airport and puts you only 5 minutes away from downtown Vernon. You have quick access to Silver Star for winter and summer adventure (including cross country and downhill skiing, hiking and an excellent mountain bike park), you can see The Rise golf course and winery across the lake and are only 10 minutes away from Predator Ridge Golf Course. As your condo is on the lake, you have easy access to all water sports during the warmer months, as well as a private beach. Vernon is a short and scenic drive to many award-winning Okanagan wineries, fruit stands and markets, and great restaurants. Yet it is a nice, relaxing place to return to at the end of a busy day.
