We have a very nice upper floor suite available for rent at the beginning or middle of May. The suite is located on our family farm (Quail Acres) in Black Mountain, only a 10 minute drive from Kelowna. There is plenty of room for gardening, bird-watching and recreational enjoyment of this beautiful and peaceful area.
We are seeking quiet, stable, long-term adult renters for this space, though short-term inquiries will be considered. Pets are negotiable, smoking is outdoors only, and no drugs/parties will be allowed.
The suite has been partially renovated and is ready for viewing immediately. It features 2 bedrooms, 1 newly renovated full bathroom, an open and spacious kitchen/dining room/living room area, working fireplace and full deck. The space is equipped with fridge/stove/new portable washer/dryer. A portable dishwasher and air conditioner are available for use. Rent is $1200/month (*see rent incentive below) and includes basic utilities (heat, water, electric).
*Any extensive use of the land (such as for horses or agricultural purposes) can be negotiated separately from the rental agreement. However, the property is not currently fenced for horses.
*The suite comes with a healthy and affectionate older male cat (Charlie) who has lived there for most of his life and is looking forward to finding some new roommates. Charlie is friendly and recently lost both of his owners to illness. We will continue to provide all his food, litter and medical care, so all he requires from our renters is daily care and affection. He is afraid of young children.
