What is difference between landlord and manager?
If you sign up as landlord, you can only add one listing, whereas property managers will be able to add multiple listings.
How can I add new listing?
Landlords / Property manager can enter their property in our system simply by creating an account with us. To register click 'Landlord/Manager Sign Up' on left hand side links. Enter all required information. We will send you validation email containing your activation code. Once you have activated your account you will be able to add listings.
How can I manage my listings?
To manage your listings, login using your user name and password and click "Manage Listing" link on left hand side menu under Landlord/Manager. You can edit and delete your listing any time.
How do I add photos to my listing?
Login with your user name and password and click 'Manage Listing' on the left hand menu. Your listing will be displayed, then browse your hard drive for the file you wish to upload. Our site will display .gif , .jpg , .bmp and .tiff formats. Fifteen photos can be added to your listing for free to enhance your listings and give it higher placement in the search results.
How do I check my listings hits?
Login to your account and click "Manage Listing", if you are landlord your total number of hits will be displayed on top of your listing detailed page. If you are property manager, hits for each of your listings will be displayed on upper right corner of the listing.
How can I get my password?
If you signed up with a valid email address, then click 'Landlord /Manager Login' on the left hand side links to retrieve your username and password. You will see "Forgot Password" link under login form, click the link and enter email address you have used during sign up. We will email your password to address provided.
How do I change my personal information?
To change your personal information, click on Edit Profile on left hand menu, you can change your password, email address or any other information you would like to edit.
Why is my listing is not displaying online?
Your listing needs to approved by administration before it is displayed online. We will send your confirmation email after your listing is approved. Listing approval takes 24-48 hours. If your listing is still not displaying, please make sure that your listing is not rejected. You can check status of your listing through manage listing link.
Is RentalsBC free to search?
RentalsBC is 100% free to search, you can search listings by city, by postal code or basic search. If you are looking for something specific, use our custom search.
How can I contact Landlord?
To contact landlord/Property Manager, click "Contact Landlord Now!" link on listing detailed page. Your request will be emailed to landlord/property manager.
How can I print my search results?
If you want to print your search results, click "Print" button on top of search result. This will open a printer friendly version of your results.
How can I print listing details?
If you want to print details of particular listing, click "Print" button on listing detailed page to open details in print friendly version.
How can I post in forum?
To post in our discussion forum, you need to register with us as a member. To register click "Member Sign In" link on left hand side menu and fill the registration form.
